Don't worry folks. You will be getting some of that Obama money to cover that increase. Free money, housing, food and healthcare. Gas can't be far behind. Don't cost nothing and you don't even have to work for it. All you have to do is vote for it. The other 50% will pay for it. What happens when that other 50% becomes part of the original 50%?

Between King Obama, bought and paid for politicians, big oil and those wonderful speculators what chance does America have?

Crude is down, Retail is up. Please explain (and don't blame it on distribution - the BigOil companies control that).

$3.98/99 here and hoping it goes down. At $93 a barrel there is no reason for it to be so high.

GasBuddy is definitely helpful when prices are climbing or falling during economic times like these.

They are ripping us off, you haven't saw a gas station run out of gas? That means there is all kinds of gas and it is an excuse to raise the price.

HIGH GASOLINE PRICES = MORE BANKRUPTCY, MORE FORECLOSURE, MORE UNEMPLOYMENT, MORE EMPTY POCKETS. WHO SAID THAT THE RECESSION CAME TO AN END?

Lets all say thanks to the refinery in California and lets not forget about the pipeline leak in Michigan for the increase in fuel prices.

I am very happy we upgraded the Jeep to the newer engine type- much better on gas. Gas will always be a thorn in the side of drivers- but I like to drive (and to rant a little here on the forums) but mostly to drive.
I am not giving into the thieves in suits (oil execs and politicians) but I am accepting my own responibility for the amount of Gas I use- and let this be notice to the thieves I mentioned earlier- you will not get my money easy. I am not using your creidt cards, or loyalty programs or anything. the cheapest gas that's my choice. In Canada almost all the gas is the same- there is no 'quality' issues or differences- so price be king. I be happy- profiteers be damned!
To all our gasbuddies- enjoy the last few weeks of summer. Drive safe!

Gas prices go up and they go down, just not as quickly. My food goes up and doesn't go down while the portions gets smaller. My government expenses just go up so they can regulate and restrict. But we react and change behavior in order to survive. We buy less, conserve more, new products enter the market, giving us different options. We like to gripe and complain but it really isn't such a bad world for Americans. There's a LOT of places I'd rather not be. We complain about gas prices but at least we have gas.
