Expedited Wind and Solar Projects

PRLOG -- While the said recipients of the projects expected to receive rapid permitting are Arizona, California, Nevada, and Wyoming, other projects to be handled in the same manner should be announced shortly. Altogether the projects, which will be of utility scale, will total around 5 GW, and should generate enough electricity to power 1.5 million homes.

According to Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, the government is working working to advance smart development of renewable energy on our public lands. This he says, is a part of President Obama’s all-of-the-above strategy to expand domestic energy production and strengthen the economy. I like to get my news from news sites that have no stake in it or are not funded by companies or organizations that would benefit from it.

We have been talking about an energy program since the seventies and nothing was ever done until this administration. Maybe attitudes like "Wind and solar are a joke and a waste of money" is why Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush never came up with an energy program.

It would take a lot of mirrors and focus them on a spot allowing a steam generator to produce electricity. there are variations to the process. This is opposed to using PV panels to generate electricity.
