Hi Dan: Yes I have had a CDL for about 20 years now. I no longer need them but I will not give them up. As you say they are very hard to get. My Buick is still going. The air worked very good when we went to Texas. I just wish I worked as well. I hope you & the family are doing find. Take care. Carl

Hello Dan, Thanks for the detailed OBD description update. Any comments on your likes/dislikes/wishes in terms of what you would want to do with the data extracted from the OBD port would be great feedback. A lot of folks wire OBD dongles to watch vehicle kinematics already. I'm curious to see what others are doing or think of doing. :-)

In the PHEV Segment in May, the Chevy Volt(1,607) continues to dominate the segment. The Toyota Prius Plug In(678) continues its distant second spot, followed by the Ford C-Max Energi(450), the Ford Fusion Energi(416), and the Honda Accord(58)lagging badly. The Volts CYTD sales of 7,157 is slightly ahead of its 2012 sales pace, and commands a 50.52% market share among the leaders in this niche segment.

The Chevy Sonic has led the segment for two months straight now, beating perennial leader Nissan Versa, which has traditionally dominated the segment due to its low price point. Way to go Sonic!!

Hi Dan: An up date on my 1992 Buick Roadmaster. I just got back from Texas with it. Ran great total MPG was 28. Not bad for a 21 year old car with a weight of 4200 pounds + people. This was the 2nd time for it to go to San Antonio. Take care. Carl

Hi Dan, that article on scratch & sniff cards was humorous but sad. Discarding something like that shows how ignorant most of American/Canadian society is becoming. If kids & adults don't know what that smell means they put themselves at risk.
