Sometimes for weeks. We are more than 100 feet away from the nearest brush or trees. That's the law here. We are at 3100 feet about 20 miles away from from Kings Canyon. Also known as the Sierra Nevada. There was a fire here over 20 years ago. My cousin lives in Victoria and his son in Richmond. We spent a week with the son for the Winter Olympics.
