we also tube quite a bit.. Water is a little cold right now but in about 3 weeks it will be better.. The Platte river warms up quick, but the Boardman river which we usually float is pretty chilly all summer. But when it's 90 it feels pretty darn good. The tubes we use are like lounge chairs, so we're not in the water much anyway. Only get wet when ya want to....Later Mike..Dale

Hi Mike.. that picture was taken as we were floating down the Platte river near Honor Michigan.. it's a slow moving part of the river that ends up at Lake Michigan.. It's about 20 minutes from where we live, a nice slow moving river, great for kids and families. Very popular tourist river in the summer. My wife and I went that day with her brother, during late summer last year. We'll be going again soon now that it's warming up around here.. talk to ya soon my friend...Dale

Thanks Mike. I'm just hanging behind your 506 CS days. I can just barely see the tail lights of course. Starting to get hot and steamy now in Tx. Hi salty. I eavesdropped on you and Ronald777 just now. Can't believe that the speed limit on I-10 in the counties surrounding Houston is 65MPH; that is totally absurd, and I don't drive all that fast. Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you for the congrats. I'd have perfect attendance, except for the fact that I went on a cruise in Jan; and missed a day. Somehow the martinis were more important... LOL!! I promised myself that it wouldn't happen again (of course it will!!) I have a buddy who will have 3300 consecutive days in June; totally astonishing.... Okay, time for a little "horizontal time."
